ABOUT
BLAKENEY HOUSE
Blakeney House was built in the late 1800s as a spacious private residence and has been transformed over the years to how it stands today. We are located in the heart of the North Norfolk coastal village of Blakeney which was once a thriving Medieval port, but has now mellowed to become a hub for sailing, walking, gillying (crabbing) and relaxing.
Summer events such as the infamous Greasy Pole and mud-sliding add character to this beautiful quayside village
Blakeney House offers a unique experience, located on the North Norfolk Heritage Coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our fine Victorian building offers 10 rooms, a modern restaurant, a cocktail bar and an extensive garden for all to use.
Our team looks forward to making our house your home away from home.
We have 10 well appointed rooms at Blakeney House, each with it’s own unique character and style. From twin rooms, through to super king and family rooms, we look forward to making our house your home from home.
Dogs are welcome in our ground floor rooms at an extra fee of £10.00 per dog per night.
Our restaurant menu is constantly changing as a reflection of sourcing the freshest local ingredients available to us at any time.
We serve food evening Tuesday - Saturday and 1pm - 7pm on Sundays.
Our long, brass bar is situated behind The Lounge and offers comfortable seating at the bar or at tables. Try one of our classic cocktails, draught beers or wine from our extensive bar and wine lists
The artwork at Blakeney House has been created by local artist Lucy Boydell and is kindly provided by Colin from the red dot gallery Holt.
ABOUT OUR LOCATION
Blakeney is home to a fantastic array of events throughout the year. For a small seaside village, especially during the Summer months, it can offer some lively days and nights. Events in towns and villages along the coast and further inland, mean that there is usually something on offer to suit most of our guests throughout the Summer months.
Here are a few of our favourite things to do in and around Blakeney.
